Galaxy add eight players to squad for new season

TS Galaxy belatedly announced the signing of eight new players on Wednesday, just days before they take on Sekhukhune United in the MTN8 quarterfinal at the weekend.

The Mpumalanga-based club has added former Royal AM players Mzwandile Dlamini and Sedwyn George, plus defender Veluyeke Zulu, who was last at AmaZulu, to their squad for the upcoming campaign.

Galaxy have also taken players from the Motsepe Foundation Championship, with Matome Mmolai and Anslin Williams joining from JDR Stars and Onke Moletshe from Venda FC.

Also added is the 17-year-old Siyabonga Nguessan and Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi, who were previously with Kaizer Chiefs’ development side.

Galaxy have seen Kamogelo Sebelebele and Lebone Seema join Orlando Pirates, while Sphiwe Mahlangu has gone to Sekhukhune United.

Striker Dženan Zajmović, who was the club’s top scorer last season, has also left along with former South African international Keegan Dolly.
