Seema: New club should proceed with caution

Siwelele coach Lehlohonolo Seema says the new club should proceed with caution even after they continued their upturn in form with a 2-0 away victory over Stellenbosch at the Athlone Stadium on Wednesday.
The win was the third in four Betway Premiership games for the club and has seen them move away from bottom place and rocket up to 10th spot in the standings.
It was first away win for the club and their first goals on the road as Tebogo Potsane and 20-year-old striker Siviwe Magidigigi both netted.
“Fighting relegation remains our priority. We haven’t set out self any new goals,” Seema said.
“If you check, we are still in the bottom half of the log, isn't it? As long as we are there, we are fighting the delegation. All the teams that are below, they are still not safe.
“But we are happy with this steady progress that we are making and let's see, maybe if you ask after five more games, after the break, then we'll see where we are, and then we can start talking about a new target.
“At the moment, every game we are fighting for our lives because we are the target. Everybody wants to take points from us,” he claimed.
Siwelele’s away win over Stellenbosch followed home success over Marumo Gallants in the Bloemfontein derby and then Sekhukhune United last Friday.
On Wednesday’s win over Stellenbosch, Seema added: “We are very grateful that we managed to defend well and keep a clean sheet again.”
