Siwelele seek to extend their successful start to the season

Betway Premiership newcomers Orbit College and Siwelele FC will face off for the first time on Tuesday at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto.
Kick-off is at 7:30pm CAT.
CURRENT FORM
Orbit College began their stint in South Africa’s top flight with a 1-0 loss to AmaZulu at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu on Saturday.
The Mswenko boys were outclassed by Usuthu, having registered less shots, less shots on target, less passes and less possession than their opposition.
They will look to register their first win in the Betway Premiership against the early log-leaders.
Having purchased SuperSport United at the conclusion of the 2024/25 season, Siwelele have gotten off to a flying start in the Betway Premiership. The club sits atop the standings, tied with Kaizer Chiefs and Durban City, after winning 3-1 against Lamontville Golden Arrows in the first round of fixtures for the new season.
Siwelele will look to keep their momentum rolling with a second victory as they play on the road for the first time.
WHAT WAS SAID
Currently unable to play at their homeground in the North West province, Orbit College head coach Pogiso Makhoye stated his side need to make the most of their stint in Dobsonville.
“I know it’s also disadvantaging us because we also wanted to play at home where we are used to the field, rotating the ball. But it’s what it is, these are the challenges we have to face,” he said after his side’s loss on Saturday.
“But we will have to accept and move on and make sure that even on Tuesday [against Siwelele], we perform better because it’s our home game even though it’s away from home.”

Speaking after his side’s win at the weekend, Siwelele head coach Lehlohonolo Seema praised his players for their performance despite the lack of preparation time he has had with the team.
"They know football, so we just had to find a way to boost their confidence, while providing a tactical structure for them to follow. Football is a process, so we will get better and learn a lot as we go."
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Orbit College - Monnapule Saleng: Former Orlando Pirates player Monnapule Saleng was placed straight into Orbit’s starting line-up at the weekend. After being iced-out at Pirates, Saleng has a point to prove this season and will look to lead Orbit’s attack.
Siwelele - Siviwe Magidigidi: Siviwe Magidigidi if off to a flying start this season after bagging a brace in his side’s opening game of the season. He will look to add to his tally on Tuesday.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
