A KwaZulu-Natal Derby headlines this weekend's Betway Premiership matches, with Sekhukhune United targeting second spot.

Bragging rights will be at stake when Richards Bay host Durban City at the uMhlathuze Stadium on Sunday, almost a month after they clashed in the Carling Knockout quarterfinals

City will be in a revenge mood as they were eliminated from the PSL's league cup by the Natal Rich Boys, who are now licking their wounds after losing to Orlando Pirates in the semifinals on 8 November.

The action will start on Saturday with Sekhukhune scheduled to travel to the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium, where they are set to lock horns with Marumo Gallants, who have lost their last two league games.

Babina Noko are winless in their last four matches, but a victory over Gallants would elevate them to second place in the standings, with Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates inactive this weekend.

However, Gallants will be brimming with confidence after reaching the Carling Knockout final for the first time following a victory over Lamontville Golden Arrows just before the recent international FIFA break.

Gallants' Bloemfontein rivals, Siwelele FC, will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to five league games when they take on an AmaZulu FC side that is keen to return to winning ways at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.

Lastly, TS Galaxy and Arrows, who are level on points and placed eighth, and ninth respectively in the standings, will meet at the Mbombela Stadium on Sunday in a battle between two top-eight hopefuls.
