Zesco United face championship test against Red Arrows

Zesco United will have a major test of their championship credentials when they host defending champions Red Arrows in the MTN Super League on Saturday.
Zesco hold a two-point lead over second-placed Kabwe Warriors and are four points better off than Power Dynamos in third and Arrows in fourth.
This weekend could either see them extend their advantage, or be reeled in, as they face a tough home clash against a side who, like them have a long unbeaten run.
Zesco have not lost in nine (W4 D5), while Arrows are unbeaten in 11 (W5 D6), though both may feel there have been too many stalemates in their recent runs.
Arrows have won five of the last seven meetings (L2), including the last two 2-0, while there has not been a draw in this fixture since 2020.
Warriors host ailing Zanaco, who sit second bottom in the table, two points from safety having won only four of their 23 games this season (D11 L8).
Warriors have had patches of good and bad form this season but are currently on a five-game unbeaten run (W3 D2), while Zanaco have lost four of their last six (W2). They have one win in 10 on the road (D6 L3) but have not lost at Warriors since 2020.
Power Dynamos go to Atletico Lusaka, who made a bright start to the season but have seen the wheels come off of late and have lost their last four in a row to slip into the relegation zone. Dynamos have won three of their previous four games (D1).
Fifth-placed Nkana FC will feel they are still in the championship hunt but are six points adrift and need to a run of victories to stay in touch.
They host Green Eagles on Sunday, who have slipped down the table having taken just a single point from the last 15 available.
Eagles have won the previous four meetings, conceding a single goal in the process.
Other games on Saturday see Mutondo Stars host bottom side Indeni, FC MUZA welcome Green Buffaloes, Mufulira Wanderers go to NAPSA Stars, Nkwazi host Nchanga Rangers and Forest Rangers travel to Lumwana Radiants.
