Babina Noko came into their match against Marumo Gallants on Saturday knowing that only a victory would elevate them to the second spot in the standings, but they were frustrated by Bahlabane Ba Ntwa.

Sekhukhune could only move up to third place after drawing 1-1 with Gallants at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium, where Elias Rammala's opening goal was cancelled out by Man of the Match Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo.

At the Moses Mabhida Stadium, AmaZulu FC moved up to the sixth spot after securing a 2-0 victory over Siwelele FC as Arthur Zwane outsmarted fellow coach Lehlohonolo Seema.

Two goals by Man of the Match Athini Maqokolo earned Usuthu a well-deserved victory on the day and Siwelele find themselves placed 12th in the standings after recording their seventh defeat of the season.

Two matches were played on Sunday, with TS Galaxy claiming a 2-1 victory at the Mbombela Stadium and handing Golden Arrows a third successive defeat across all competitions in the process.

It was a game which saw Man of the Match Puso Dithejane grab a goal and an assist, while Mory Keita netted Galaxy's other goal, and Keenan Phillips' late strike proved to be mere consolation for Arrows.

Lastly, Richards Bay were held to a 0-0 draw by Durban City in the KwaZulu-Natal Derby at the Richards Bay Stadium, leaving the two teams placed 10th and seventh respectively.
