Kruger, City win big in Motsepe Foundation Championship

The likes of Kruger United and Cape Town City were among the biggest winners during the latest round of fixtures in the Motsepe Foundation Championship this weekend.
To begin with, Kruger continued their rampant run of form this weekend following a 3-1 win over Venda Football Academy on Saturday.

Sitting on 25 points after 13 games played, Kruger United have now noted five wins on the spin as the league’s most in-form team currently, and ended the latest gameweek in second position.
While Kruger fly high, Cape Town City have shrugged off their early season cobwebs by connecting two wins in their last two fixtures.
More recently, the Mother City outfit recorded a 3-0 win against the University of Pretoria on Saturday, while their win on away soil moved them into fifth spot on 19 points after 13 matches played so far.
Elsewhere, log leaders Milford maintained their position at the top of the pile after their 1-0 win against Hungry lions on Sunday while Casric Stars slipped into third after their 1-0 defeat against The Bees on Saturday.
