While much has been made among the top teams in the Motsepe Foundation Championship this season, the likes of Midlands Wanderers and Black Leopards will face stern tests in the latest gameweek in South Africa’s first division.

With only two wins after 13 matches played so far, Midlands Wanderers will go into their next game sitting at the bottom of the pile with nine points to their name.

Midlands Wanderers are currently on a run of two consecutive losses against Lerumo Lions and Leicesterford City respectively.

This week, Midlands Wanderers are scheduled to face log leaders Milford FC at the Hammarsdale’s Mpumalanga Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The latter are on 27 points and could make it three wins on the bounce in their quest for automatic promotion.

As for Black Leopards, the Limpopo side will take on Gomora United on Saturday as they go into their next league assignment in 15th position on the table.

Black Leopards have likewise struggled to yield positive results this season and last recorded losses to Cape Town City, Venda Football Academy and Baroka in their last three Motsepe Foundation Championship outings.
