MFC preview – Casric, The Bees buzzing atop of the MFC summit

The likes of Casric Stars and The Bees will once again target consecutive victories in the Motsepe Foundation Championship this weekend when they take on Baroka and Milford, respectively.

Casric Stars are the only side with a 100 per cent win record in South Africa’s first division so far, following victories against Black Leopards, Milford and Cape Town City.

This weekend, log leaders Casric will take on Baroka at the Mafori Mphahlele Stadium on Sunday afternoon, while The Bees are scheduled to face Milford at the Kanyamazane Stadium on the same day.

The Motsepe Foundation Championship new boys last recorded a 2-0 win against Midlands Wanderers, which was off the back of a 2-1 loss to Leruma Lions in matchday two.

Elsewhere, at the bottom of the table, Black Leopards will host Lerumo Lions on Saturday, with Cape Town City taking on Krugersdorp United at the Athlone Stadium on Sunday.
