In the second half, Nkosana Mbuthu added his name to the scoresheet with a cracker before Thulani Mabaso made it 3-0 with six minutes remaining on the clock.

On Thursday, ahead of the match, Chiefs got a huge boost as they were awarded three points by the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee after Chippa United was found guilty of failing to honour a fixture against the Chiefs on 1 February, 2025. The match was awarded to Kaizer Chiefs with a 3-0 scoreline.
Amakhosi came into the encounter needing a win to reach a tally of 67 points, which no other team would reach this season to claim the 10th-year DDC title, which is their first ever in 10 years.
Despite Stellenbosch FC, who are second in the log, failing to get maximum points as they were thumped 3-0 by Marumo Gallants, Chiefs handled their business with care as they thrashed Magesi.
Amakhosi now join the long list of Golden Arrows, Mamelodi Sundowns, University of Pretoria, Bloemfontein Celtic, SuperSport United, and Stellenbosch FC, who have all lifted the prestigious Diski Challenge title.
Amakhosi will receive a guard of honour in their final match of the season against AmaZulu FC next weekend, where they will also be officially crowned champions.
