Kaizer Chiefs continued with their fine run in the DStv Diski Challenge with another hard-fought victory in Stellenbosch.

Amakhosi travelled to face last season's runners-up, Stellenbosch FC, in a fixture over the weekend. Neo Bohloko, Pheko Phago and Matala Makhubo ensured Chiefs emerged victorious as each player found the back of the net to record a 3-2 victory.

The win saw Chiefs climb to the second spot on the log with six points after two games.

Richards Bay 1-0 Magesi

Sanele Simelane's solitary strike in the 34th minute of the game proved to be enough to hand the Natal Rich Boys maximum points against Magesi as their perfect start to the new season.

The victory moved Richards Bay to the top of the DStv Diski Challenge table.

Marumo Gallants 1-3 Mamelodi Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns registered their first win of the campaign as they thumped Marumo Gallants 3-1 on Sunday. The return of Gomolemo Kekana, who missed the opening weekend as he was in camp with Amajita, was a huge boost for Sundowns. Kekana was among the scorers on the day as the other goals came from Tshiamo Masisi and Ntokozo Siquba.

This was Sundowns' first win of the season after playing to a 1-1 draw in their first match against Siwelele.

Siwelele FC 0-1 Orlando Pirates

Mpho "Phopho" Padime announced his arrival in the DStv Diski Challenge in style, handing Orlando Pirates their first win of the season. The young sensation came on as a sub in the opening match of the season last weekend. Against Siwelele, he started and had a good game as he earned Pirates a win.
