Power Dynamos and Red Arrows were the big winners in the weekend MTN Super League action, but ZESCO United remain top of the table despite being held to a 0-0 draw at bottom side Indeni FC.

ZESCO have 47 points from their 25 games, two points ahead of Dynamos (45), with Kabwe Warriors (44) and Arrows (42) in the mix too.

ZESCO will be hugely disappointed with their goalless draw that has allowed the chasing pack to close in.

Dynamos won 2-0 at FC MUZA as Austin Muwowo and Dominic Chanda scored in each half.

Warriors were stunned when they lost 1-0 at Green Buffaloes after they had a chance to go top of the table with three points. Peter Ng’uni got the only goal of the game.

Arrows were 1-0 winners at home to NAPSA Stars in a game that was carried over from Saturday. Their goal was scored by 45-year-old James Chamanga, who continues to defy his age.

Zanaco eased their relegation worries with a 1-0 victory over Lumwana Radiants as Araina Lambert got the winner nine minutes from fulltime. Despite the result they remain in the bottom four, two points from safety.

Nkana FC were 2-0 losers at Nchanga Rangers in a blow to their title hopes. Laurent Ntambwe Mwanza converted a penalty and Luzeka Sama added a second for Rangers.

Forest Rangers and Mutondo Stars played to a 0-0 draw, while Atletico Lusaka picked up a 2-1 win at Green Eagles.

Moise Kanda gave the home side the lead, but goals from Godwin Chipanama and Thomas Chisi, in injury-time at the end of the game, handed Atletico victory.

Mufulira wanderers were 2-1 winners over Nkwazi as Gilbert Tentani and Patson Kwataine scored for the home side. Kenneth Kasanga picked up a consolation goal for the visitors.
