Power Dynamos on brink of MTN Super League title

Power Dynamos moved closer to the 2024-25 MTN Super League title with a 2-0 victory over Nkwazi on Wednesday to maintain their six-point lead at the top of the table with three rounds of matches remaining.

Second-placed ZESCO United kept their fading hopes alive with a 1-0 away win at Kabwe Warriors as Leonard Mulenga scored the only goal on 36 minutes.

Idris Mbombo scored the only goal in the first half as Nkana claimed victory at Green Buffaloes.
Zanaco took a step towards safety as they won 1-0 at Green Eagles, with Robert Saizi scoring the only goal.

Atletico Lusaka moved themselves out of the relegation zone with a 1-0 win at outgoing champions Red Arrows.
Samon Malaya scored what could be a precious winner in the 90th minute.
The 0-0 draw between Forest Rangers and Nchanga Rangers means the former are second bottom in the table, now four points from safety.
Lumwana Radiants drop into the bottom four after they lost 1-0 at home to Mutondo Stars, who boosted their survival hopes.
The latter are still in the relegation zone though.
Already-relegated Indeni picked up only their third win of the campaign when they beat Mufulira Wanderers 1-0 at home.
Jonathan Munalula scored the goal just past the hour-mark.
The match between FC MUZA and NAPSA Stars that was originally scheduled for Wednesday has been moved to Saturday due to the unavailability of the match venue.
