Top versus bottom in the MTN Super League

Zesco United go to bottom side Indeni FC on Saturday looked to extend their two-point lead at the top of the MTN Super League.
Zesco are unbeaten in 10 games (W5 D5), while Indeni have lost their last three and have only two wins in 24 games this campaign, seemingly destined for relegation.
They are 15 points from safety, which already looks too much of a mountain to climb, though in fairness many of their defeats have been close and it is not like opponents have run through them.
Seven of their last nine defeats have been by single goal margins, and the other two were both 3-1. They have only been kept scoreless in one of their last 11 league games.
In nine previous league meetings, Zesco have won eight to go with a single draw.
Second-placed Kabwe Warriors are at Breen Buffaloes and looking to potential leapfrog Zesco if the latter slip up. Warriors are unbeaten in six (W4 D2) after a mid-season wobble. Buffaloes have won two of their last three (L1) but remain in mid-table.
Power Dynamos are four points off the leaders in third place and they host FC MUZA on Sunday. Dynamos have taken 13 points from the previous 15 available to shoot up the table.
Muza continue to be inconsistent this season and ended a three-game losing streak on the road with victory at Zanaco in their last away game.
Nkana FC have risen to fourth, albeit six points off the leaders, as they travel to strugglers Nchanga Rangers seeking a third win in succession.
Nkana are looking for a third win in a row while Rangers are winless in seven matches (D3 L4) and last won at home at the start of December.
Nkwazi are also six points behind Zesco as they go to Mufulira Wanderers. Only Zesco (2) have lost fewer games than Nkwazi (4) this season.
Defending champions Red Arrows are seven points back with their title hopes fading unless they can find some consistent form. They host NAPSA Stars, who beat them 1-0 in the reverse fixture in October.
Other games on Saturday see Green Eagles host Atletico Lusaka and Forest Rangers welcome Mutondo Stars.
Struggling Zanaco, who are stuck in the relegation zone two points from safety, welcome Lumwana Radiants on Sunday.
