While Durban City continued their winless streak last time out, the Motsepe Foundation Championship leaders will prepare to do battle against Milford at the Chatsworth Stadium on Tuesday evening.

After recording a draw and defeat in their last two league games, Durban City’s lead at the top of the pile was slashed to five points after 25 matches played.

The club formerly known as Maritzburg United will now head into their next game on the back of a 1-0 loss against Highbury, while Milford saw out a 2-1 win against University of Pretoria on the 12th of April.

Elsewhere, Casric Stars could extend their unbeaten run in the league to six matches when they take on the University of Pretoria at the Tuks Stadium on Tuesday.

As it stands, Casric remain on the right track for a PSL promotion finish and trail table toppers Durban City by five points ahead of their upcoming encounter.

Then, all eyes will be on Cape Town Spurs and Pretoria Callies this week as the two sides prepare to trade blows at the Athlone Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

Sitting in 13th position, Callies hold a two-point lead over Spurs, who occupy 14th after Matchday 25. A win for either side will ease relegation troubles for now given their narrow lead over the likes of Venda Football Academy and Leruma United.
