Amity Shamende scored the only goal 13 minutes from fulltime as Green Eagles defeated defending champions Red Arrows 1-0 in their MTN Super League clash on Saturday.

The result means Arrows have won only one of their last seven games as their title defence falters, and they suffer back-to-back league losses for the first time in more than a year.

Leaders Power Dynamos claimed a last-gasp 1-0 win at Prison Leopards to extend their advantage at the top of the table to four points, after it had seemed the longest while the game would end 0-0.

Joshua Mutale scored the winner in the dying minutes to keep Dynamos on their steady march for the title.

Forest Rangers climbed into second on the back of a 1-0 home success against NAPSA Stars, with Libamba Moyela scoring the only goal at the end of the first half.

Nkana FC claimed what could be a vital win over rivals ZESCO United as Harrison Chisala scored a penalty midway through the second half. The loss comes just a few hours after ZESCO had confirmed the re-appointment of George Lwandamina as their new coach.

Zanaco led and then had to come from behind to defeat MUZA FC 3-2 in a five-goal thriller.

A penalty from Cameroon midfielder Mousa Souleymanou put them in front, but goals from Kelvin Mwanza and Bobo Angwenga turned the fixture in the favour of MUZA.

But after Zanaco had equalised, a late own goal from Abraham Siankombo won the day for the home side.

Nkwazi claimed a big 3-0 win over in-form Lumwana Radiants thanks to a double from Bernard Kumwenda, one being a penalty, while Justin Shonga was also on the scoresheet.

Nchanga Rangers picked up what could be a vital win to halt their recent rot when they claimed a 2-1 success against Kansanshi Dynamos. Christian Saili scored a brace for the home side, while Djo Ntambwe scored what proved a consolation for Dynamos.

Strugglers Chambashi and Kabwe Warriors played to a goalless draw in their encounter.
