Casric Stars & Upington City prey on log leaders Milford

This weekend’s list of Motsepe Foundation Championship fixtures makes for exciting reading as the likes of Casric Stars and Upington City target a stuttering Milford at the top of the pile.
As it stands, Milford lead the way in the Motsepe Foundation Championship on 19 points after nine matches played. However, Milford hold a slender one-point lead over Casric Stars, who occupy second on the table.
Not far behind, Upington City’s positive run of form has seen them go within three points of the top, following their 3-0 win against Baroka last time out.
Nonetheless, Casric Stars will hope to bounce back from their 1-1 draw with Venda Football Academy in matchday nine when they take on Gomora United on Sunday.
Gomora, who are 11th on the standings are winless in their last four league outings and will go into their next game on the back of consecutive draws with Kruger United and The Bees respectively.
Upington City, who are on a two-match winning streak, will face Highbury on Saturday with the latter sitting in fourth place, one point ahead of third.
As for Milford, who suffered a 1-0 loss to Kruger United this past Wednesday, will be away to Leicesterford City on Saturday.
