Rise and Shine seek redemption in Magesi clash

Polokwane City will be looking to dust themselves off from being knocked out of the Nedbank Cup when they go up against relegation-threatened Magesi in the Betway Premiership at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Kick-off is at 7:30pm CAT (SA, GMT+2)
CURRENT FORM
Rise and Shine are placed third in the Betway Premiership standings, but are currently licking their wounds following their disappointing Nedbank Cup loss in the Round of 16 at the hands of Stellenbosch FC.
Their last league match also saw them lose 2-0 to Richards Bay, so the Polokwane outfit are seeking to get back to winning ways when they take on struggling Magesi.
As for Dikwena tsa Meetse, they are currently on a high following their 2-0 victory over Cape Town City in the league.
However, they still find themselves in dangerous territory in 15th position on the log.

WHAT WAS SAID
Polokwane City coach Photo Mohave refuses to take credit for the team’s impressive performances this season, showing that he’s keeping a level head.
“It is not only about me, it’s about the whole technical team and supporting staff and how we do things in the team," he said.
“When you look at it, we allow ourselves to grow and for us to grow is to keep a good relationship among ourselves.”
Having played a crucial role in City's successful return to the PSL, Mohafe remains quietly content with his contribution, preferring to let his on-field performances speak for themselves rather than seeking public recognition.
“That one [perceived lack of respect for his work] I care less about it because I think the work I am doing here at the club with the support of the technical team and management speaks volumes for us as a team.
“I don’t care who says what about me, I am working here at Polokwane City and I am surrounded by good coaches. It is not about me but the whole technical team.”
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Ndamulelo Maphangule, Polokwane City — The central midfielder has been a key player for Rise and Shine this season, anchoring in the middle of the park and helping dictate play.
His services will be required as Magesi are prone to breaking on the counter.
Lehlohonolo Mtshali, Magesi — The 30-year-old defender was on the scoresheet as the team defeated Cape Town City in their last league match, showing that he’s not only strong defensively but also provides a threat in the attack when necessary.
