TEAM NEWS

WHAT WAS SAID?

TS Galaxy head coach Adnan Beganovic

“It’s okay; it happens [suffering a defeat]. We tried to refresh our team with new players, and we conceded our own goal [first goal],” Beganovic said.

“It was just two shots on goal and two goals, and we tried everything. Maybe we had five or six great opportunities for scoring, but we did everything. It happens.

“We can’t win every game; I’m still happy with my players. We need to start with the road to recovery and put more attention on the league.”

Stellenbosch FC head coach Steve Barker

“I thought it was a really good performance by the boys throughout, especially the first half. I think we were dominant and deserved to get the goals, and we did,” Barker said.

“So, I’m happy to be in a draw of the Last 8. Ooverall, I think it was a very good solid performance from the boys.

“It was obviously nice to have the head coach of our national team here to watch the players. I think that’s always a boost to the players.”

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
